The joystick performs both rotational and translational movements thanks to the 6-axis sensor. The SpaceMouse® module can therefore replace two conventional joysticks in many applications, increasing operator control, saving space in control panels and reducing investment costs. Completely new control concepts and control panels can be implemented without the need for extensive operator training.
The industrial module features an optimized feel for industrial control applications, including higher spring tension, less dead zone, solid and durable handle material, and a dust-tight seal. The joystick is resistant to aging and static magnetic fields, thanks to which it works reliably and does not wear out the internal mechanics.
At the heart of the joystick is a 3Dconnexion optoelectronic sensor that has been tried and tested in millions of 3D mice around the world. The ergonomically optimized handle with 6 degrees of freedom (DOF) completes the attractive features of the product.
