The contactless speed and length sensor Speedwagon is a non -contact enkoder incremental. It measures the speed and length of moving objects to monitor, control and regulate production systems. The absolute advantage of this solution: the measurement is non -contact, purely optical, without mechanical elements, and therefore without slip. Unlike measuring wheels and other mechanical solutions, Speedwagon achieves higher measurement accuracy and does not damage the material through mechanical consumption. In addition, the sensor is able to take over the function of a trigger, i.e. administering the starting pulse, e.g. as an output for marking devices as soon as the previously defined growth value is achieved.
