Another interesting application made on the basis of linear modules is the marking system. As a drive in this type of application, the SMH60 servo motor was used along with the CD series controller. Controllers from this series communicate via the RS232 interface and can work in several modes: step / direction (analogous to stepper motors), speed control, torque control, travel to the desired home position.
The entire system control has been programmed in the K308-40AR PLC controller, in addition to the marking system, the MT4414TE operator panel has been implemented for local display of results as well as local process control.
