The MLA linear module is based on an aluminum profile, a linear guide and a tooth strip. Such a structure allows to obtain large linear speeds with a positioning accuracy of up to 0.1 mm. Due to the rotational movement produced by the motor, the pinion wheel sets the carriage in motion by means of the toothed belt.
Appropriate engine control allows precise positioning of the cart. The positioning precision is largely dependent on the used drive and the accuracy of the optional gearbox. In order to achieve the optimum operating parameters, WObit proposes the use of selected stepper motors from the 57BYGH series.
The 57BYGH hybrid stepper motors are medium-sized stepper motors with an increased torque thanks to the increased rotor diameter compared to standard motors of similar size. On the other hand, the 60BYGH model is the latest two phase hybrid stepper motor offered by WObit. Slightly increased dimensions result in greater rotor diameter and increased holding torque.
