The TRY14 series of thumb joysticks offers a wide range of configurations to suit a variety of applications.
TheTRY14 is a versatile thumb joystickfeaturing a wide range of grips, stops and output options. The size of these joysticks can be compared to those commonly used in gamepads, but the TRY14 is integrated into an industrial housing with a reliable mechanism.Typical applications include remote controls, integration with armrests or larger joystick grips, and industrial or medical robotic arms.
In addition to analog outputs and digital interfaces (PWM and USB), the TRY14 offers a choice of hard plastic or elastomer mounts. One version of the handle even comes with a momentary button. Redundant sensors with shared or separate power supply are optionally available. This allows joysticks to be optimized for almost any application.
With convenient mounting options (top or bottom frame mounting or screw flange) and a shallow mounting depth of < 13 mm, the joystick offers unrivaled possibilities when space is limited under the panel. Termination options include cables or a TE connector with a 2.54 mm pitch, further increasing flexibility.
Electromechanics, using advanced non-contact Hall sensors, ensure a long mechanical life of 1 million operations. The structure is designed to withstand loads up to approximately 30N, and improved bracket options provide up to IP69k protection above the panel (this does not include the panel entry).
