The WDF1 measuring transducer? is designed to work with piezo-resistive, FlexiForce type foil force sensors that are characterized by durability, flexibility and a thickness of 0.2 mm.

Communication
The WDF1 device digitally converts the resistive signal by linearizing it. Thanks to this, it is possible to approximate the force acting on the sensor. WDF1 has a voltage output of 0.. 10 V and a transistor output that can be configured to be enabled at an appropriate threshold corresponding to the load on the sensor. WDF1 also has an RS485 interface working in the MODBUS communication standard, thanks to which it is possible to communicate several dozen sensors on one bus with a master device (eg PLC).
