The MainSensor sensors were awarded by Product of the Year 2015 in a contest organized by Control Engineering Polska technical journal.
Wide measuring range: 20-55 [mm]
Linear output signal
High dynamics
Measuring range regulated by magnets
Different shapes / compact design of the sensor
Magneto-inductive sensors measure distance, position or displacement of defined magnetic object. Measuring range from the front is 45 mm, but it can be modified in range from 20 mm up to 55 mm, by changing magnet. According to physical measuring principle the output signal is linear (2-10V and 4- 20 mA) and is independant from measuring range.
Due to the physical effect being used, no non-ferrous materials appear between the sensor and the measuring object, such as aluminum, plastic or ceramics, for measurements. This is very useful when measuring in a closed system. Surface mounting in non-ferrous materials is also possible.
The flexible design offers many possibilities in terms of sensor design. The sensor is available as a simple PCB, in a plastic housing or in a stainless steel housing, which is resistant to many chemicals, oil and dirt.
