SFC133 is a microchip driver for a five-phase stepper motor that allows for extremely smooth operation of the drive unit at a high moment. 5-phase motors are distinguished by lower vibrations and high positioning accuracy. Thanks to modern technology, the controller is small in size.
As a standard, it is made with an active cooling fan, a small radiator which is a neat and easy to install on the assembly rail. The short-circuit proof power stages included in the SFC133 controller were built on systems operating at a 20kHz chopping frequency, which prevents unnecessary overheating of the motor due to losses from too high clampering frequency. In the integrated circuits of power stages there are included structures of DMOS transistors with low resistance with a unique way of measuring the current, ensuring excellent power losses.
The controller includes an internal generator for two travel speeds programmed with a jumper on the controller board and controlled by an isolated V1 / V2 signal.
