SMC50 is a controller designed to cooperate with a two-step stepper motor. It enables full-angle control or a step divided into 2, 4 or 8 parts, forcing the appropriate value of the current in the motor winding regardless of the controller's voltage supply. Each rectangular pulse appearing at the step input (STEP) causes the motor to jump by one step or microstep, depending on the depth of the step division set in the controller by means of jumpers (M1 and M2).
The motor rated current is set using the potentiometer located on the main board of the controller. The potentiometer allows you to change the controller phase current in the range of 0.15A to 0.75A. The controller has a voltage indicator in the form of a red LED. The modular design favors the easy construction of multi-axis control systems, eg CNC machines. Mounting method Handle on 35mm DIN rail
