To compensate for misalignment of the angle sensors when connecting to the object axis, angle sensors, such as optoelectric, magnetic and rotary potentiometers, are used to provide a low kinematic kinematic transmission. Non-axial angular, radial and axial alignment induce strains in the bearings connected to the device and cause them to wear quickly.
The coupler stands out due to the way the torque is transmitted and the way it is clamped. The clutch, depending on the type of torque transmission element and the material used, is more or less rigidly stiff. Choosing the right clutch has to be based not only on the construction, comfort and mounting price, but also on the precision required in the application.
Among the clutches offered by the WObit company are available:
SDZ disk and 2-disk SDZ clamps - the clamping rings are connected to a special alloy disk, which rigidly transmits the torque load, while ensuring certain elasticity in the axial direction at the same time. Disk clutches are best used in high speed positioning drives with servo motors.
Spline helical aluminum SHZ and SHA as well as aluminum slotted SND - made of one piece of aluminum, they ensure long durability at a low moment of inertia and a relatively large time transmitted. The parameters of the helical coil and the thickness of the wall are selected so as to provide a small kinematic transfer error with the necessary flexibility in the other directions. Often used when connecting drive axes with an encoder.
OLDHAM type couplings are convenient in assembly because they are triple. They consist of two clamping or pressing rings and a replaceable insulating insert that transmits the drive torque. The couplings are well suited for transmitting the drive to optoelectronic rotary transducers, for low and medium drives.
Clashed SPD plastic clutches are cheap clutches of electrically insulating glass-fiber reinforced plastic that has a low moment of inertia. Despite their compact design, they enable precise torque transfer while reducing axial and angular misalignment due to the inaccuracy of assembling the connected axes.
Bellow SMZ and SMD couplings, due to the high flexibility in the axial direction and bending, achieved thanks to the characteristic bellows construction, with high torsional rigidity, are conveniently used for connecting the encoder axis with the axis of rotation for high precision position.
