The new hygienic HLAE planetary gearboxes from May 2014 are available in the WObit offer. Their construction is based on the construction of the popular PLE series. The new series has been designed to meet, and even exceed, the highest hygienic requirements.
HLAE is more than stainless steel, HLAE is a hygienic, easy to assemble gearbox designed for use in the pharmaceutical and food industries. They are used, for example, in bottling plants or slicers. Another place for their application is the cosmetics industry, where they work in packaging filling systems and cosmetics blending.
In most planetary gears, radial bolts are used to fasten the hub to the engine shaft, but this creates space where the sediment accumulates and the bacteria multiply. The design of the new HLAE gearboxes is devoid of these screws, thanks to which they can easily be cleaned and disinfected.
In addition, the construction of hygienic planetary gears allows them to be easily installed. For the OEM application, an optional seal kit is available to allow the integration of gearboxes in the engine assembly space.
