Backlash-less racks system consists of a toothed rack and pinion gear, which is composed of innovative ball bearings.
This replaces the teeth of the endmill used in conventional gear and rack systems to prevent sliding friction. What's more, unlike other linear motion systems, a small preload can be used in the system to eliminate backlash.
Developed to minimize friction, backlash-free slide technology allows you to achieve 99% efficiency when rotating linearly, greatly reducing wear and ensuring longevity. even when using extremely high speeds.
The gears surround separate teeth, simultaneously loading them in opposite directions, eliminating the need to use a second gear to counteract slack. Precisely made tooth profiles determine the space of the rack, and the shafts can smoothly move forward and backward in opposite directions. With specially designed rollers loaded in the opposite direction to the tangential path, this system prevents backlash.
In addition to smooth motion, the backlash-free rack guide system ensures accurate and repeatable positioning. Each tooth is precisely measured with respect to the first one, maintaining high positioning accuracy and eliminating the accumulation of errors. This results in positioning accuracy up to ± 30μm (half the diameter of the human hair).
What's more, this system is able to achieve speed up to 11 m / sec , and its special design results in minimal heat and wear of components due to low friction, ensuring high accuracy positioning.
The backlash-free backlash system also ensures a longer service life and reduces maintenance. In slower applications, the system can function without lubrication. It is worth noting that the backlash-free guide system keeps accuracy throughout the life of the system.
