MD102A indicator is designed for differential measurement of geometrical quantities using any two sensors with a voltage output of 0..10V or 0..5V. Thanks to the use of a 24-bit transmitter, very accurate measurements with a resolution of up to Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? Ă? (Depends on the sensor) is possible in relation to the measuring range of a particular sensor. The measurement result is presented on a six-digit display. There is a possibility of mathematical processing of the measured result by giving the multiplier and offset. The indicator also has two relay outputs that respond to exceeding the specified threshold (upper and lower).
These outputs can control other devices giving the possibility to integrate the pointer into a larger system. MD102A indicator is widely used in both industry and research laboratories, wherever there is a need for exact or coarse measurement of the measured quantity. MD102 has an autocalibration function. After placing the reference object in the sensor work area, entering the appropriate sensor data and switching on the calibration, the device will automatically calculate the distance between the mounted sensors and perform auto-calibration.
The MD102A indicator is simple to set up and use, and the software has been designed to be intuitive and let you run the device in a few minutes. In addition, the MD102A-PC software for a PC computer is available for cooperation with the MD102A indicator, which greatly simplifies programming, and also allows the recording of measured values â??â??and exports in MS Excel format.
The idea of â??â??differential measurement is to connect two synchronously acting sensors with each other and subtract the values â??â??measured by them from a fixed one. Thanks to this solution, when the measured object moves inside the measurement field, the measured value does not change as constant compensation occurs. When, due to the movement of the object, the value measured from one of the sensors grows, the value measured from the other sensor decreases proportionally so that the circular result remains unchanged. The MD102A co-operates with any voltage output sensors.
MD102A performs the following functions:
- measurement of geometrical quantities by means of two coupled sensors with voltage output,
- changes of relay output states based on set thresholds,
- displaying the result with a very clear LED screen,
- sending measurement data by means of RS232 link,
- cooperation with PC software,
- auto-calibration of the pointer by means of a reference object.
