Photosensitive microscopes from the BS5 series
Sensors are used to detect small objects or markers and slots in metal or plastic discs. Three different enclosures allow lateral mounting (BS5-T2M), straight ahead (BS5-K2M) or angled (BS5-L2M). The sensor consists of a plastic housing containing a embedded integrated circuit, as well as a transmitter and a receiver behind the smoke barrier.
The sensor has a fixed spacing between the transmitter and the receiver with a value of 5mm and recognizes the smallest object with dimensions of 0.8x1mm. The internal integrated circuit allows a wide range of sensor supply voltages from +5 to + 24VDC. The output signal is available in the form of an open standard collector output with NPN transistor with a maximum current of 100mA. An additional control input allows you to switch the sensor operating mode (switching on when lighting / switching on at the shutter).
The maximum working frequency of 2 kHz allows you to measure the rotational speed or "notice" a fast moving overhead or object. The internal integrated circuit contains an overcurrent control system for the output. Four silver flat contacts are used to press the appropriate connector or solder the wires.
