Photoelectric sensor from the BYD100 series
The sensor is housed in a plastic housing (IP64, with IP40 timer) with dimensions of 32x18x12mm. With 2.1cm2 surfaces, they easily allow you to be mounted on a production line in hard-to-reach places to control the moving products. The sensor is powered by 12 to 24VDC and consumes no more than 35mA of current.
The transmitter emits a modulated infrared light whose beam is detected by the receiver, with the smallest object obscuring it at 6mm. The sensor response time is max. 3msec. The sensor can be used at daylight with a brightness up to 11000lx or 3000lx max.
The sensors are made with an open collector NPN (NPN to ground) transistor. The transistor output load is 50mA max. The sensor is available with the operating mode: active light (Light ON). The transmitter has a 3-wire cable with a length of 2 m. The red LED located on the back of the casing extends the optical axis, serves as an indicator of the operation. The version with the timer delays the time of triggering the signal by 3 msec and allows for the prolongation of the signaling time from 0.1 to 2 sec, which is set by the potentiometer on the sensor housing. The weight of the sensor is approx. 70g.
