Photoelectric sensor from the BEN5M-MFR series
The photoelectric reflective proximity sensor has a relay output up to 5 m. The transmitter and receiver of the sensor are housed in one housing made of 50x50x18mm plastic. The sensor is supplied complete with a 40.5x60.5x8mm mirror. The sensor is powered by constant voltage 24 to 240VDC or alternating 24 to 240VAC and consumes no more than 3VA of power.
The transmitter emits a modulated infrared light whose beam is detected by the receiver, with the smallest object obscuring it at 60mm. The sensor response time is max 20msek. The sensor can be used at daylight with a brightness up to 11000lx or 3000lx max. Signals are led out of the housing by a five-core cable with a diameter of 6mm and a length of 2m. The relay output load is up to 3A at 30VDC or 3A with AC 250VAC. The sensor has a selected operating mode: active dark or active bright.
The sensor has a LED power indicator, orange color and a green LED that acts as an indicator of operation. The degree of protection is IP50 due to the holes for adjusting the sensitivity settings placed on the top of the housing.
