TheDT IFS2407-1.5 confocal sensoroffers a measurement range of 1.5 mm with an offset of 17 mm and is compatible with all controllers from the ConfocalDT product group.
Thanks to a very large numerical aperture of 0.7, the IFS2407-1.5 achieves a similarly large measurement angle as the IFS2407-0.1. On shiny metal, the new IFS2407-1.5 achieves a measuring angle of up to ±70°.
The new sensor is therefore ideally suited for applications on curved and structured surfaces. This includes, for example, the measurement of precision parts such as gears, whose steep and shiny edges are reproduced extremely reliably and precisely.
Another application of the sensor is the measurement of lenses, since large measurement angles are required, especially at the edges. The sensor also features a small light spot that is extremely small at just 5.5 µm (with a 26 µm fiber) and provides excellent lateral resolution of <3 µm. This enables stable measurement of the smallest structures.
Properties:
Measuring range (mm) 1.5
Extremely small measuring spot of 5.5 µm
Measurement angle >± 43°
Light-intensive model (NA > 0.7)
High measurement precision on curved and mirror surfaces
