The confocalDT 2471HS controller is used for fast measurements of the distance and thickness of very bright and reflecting surface light, providing a measurement frequency of up to 70 kHz, without the need for an external source of light. Controllers from the confocalDT HS series are considered to be one of the fastest confocal measurement systems in the world.

The new controllers can work with any IFS sensor and are available in two versions: standard IFC2471LED for distance measurements and in the multi-peak version IFC2471MP LED for thickness measurements.

Thanks to the user-friendly web interface (in the web browser), the entire controller and sensor configuration process can be performed without additional software. Data is transferred via Ethernet, EtherCAT, RS422 or analog output.
