GEN2 is a universal astable circuit that generates a rectangular + 5V CMOS waveform. Thanks to the electronics used, the generator can generate rectangular waveforms in a very wide range. GEN2 can be used to timing stepper motor controllers or any other devices that need a clock signal with a constant frequency or frequency setting. The interval has a frequency division of 1 to 512.
The generator has three basic frequencies, thanks to the appropriate connections you can get 7 utility ranges. For each combination, an additional division is also possible, connected by a short circuit by outputting Z1 and Z2. You can stop generator operation by shorting one of the inputs IN1, IN2 to ground. The system generates waveforms when no signal is given to these inputs. The change in frequency in the given range is made by a potentiometer, preferably multi-turn, so that the settings are accurate (eg CM1000 or AL.1910 available in our offer), which connects to output 16,177.18.
The system has 2 outputs, one in the TTL standard (pin 3), the second in the open collector standard - with the L-FET transistor (pin 2). It is an output with increased load capacity, which allows you to control a dozen or so controllers of stepper motors or other devices, where a current of up to 0.5A is required.
