GEN1 is a universal astable circuit that generates a rectangular + 5V CMOS waveform. It has a very wide range of signals - from 0.007Hz to 100,000Hz. The frequency is generated continuously or 'packs'. The system can be programmed for continuous generation by adjusting the frequency of the jumper or when the second jumper is inserted, you receive a signal that is sent quite tightly - with packets. The frequency of packets depends on the set second jumper and the frequency generated.
Generator GEN1 can be used to clock up step controllers (eg SMC series) or any other device. The construction of the generator plate is adapted to be installed on the SMC 62 controller. Simply insert the plate into the driver extension connector, so all signals and power will be connected to the system. The connection of the generator to another device is via a connector located on the bottom part of the plate.
Features:
- Dimensions: 35 * 32 * 27mm,
- Rectangular pulses generated,
- Power supply + 5V,
- Frequency 0.007 Hz to 100 kHz,
- Frequency adjustment by a potentiometer or by supplying a preset voltage from 0 2V.
By connecting an electrolytic capacitor with a value of 220şF to the left and center tap of the potentiometer controlling the frequency, a soft start effect can be obtained. Frequency is gentle in less than a second. It is recommended to use a low-cost MUP1100 single-turn potentiometer or a CM1000 one-turn potentiometer, and in the case of the required long-lasting AL1910 durability. For ten-turn potentiometers, you can use the IMT, NKK, MCD series knobs.
