TMC236 is a motion controller for bipolar stepper motors that includes power levels. It has a SPI interface as well as enables classic analogue / digital control. It allows you to obtain 1.5 A per phase without the need for additional equipment. It distinguishes itself from the previously mentioned products with built-in control of the current flowing through the motor windings and programmable slope control. This function allows you to adjust the slope build-up, which reduces the bandwidth of EMV. As a result, it is easier to expose the remaining distortions. Due to its low surface area and high efficiency, it is suitable for use in embedded control systems as well as for battery-powered systems. They are produced in PQFP-44 housings and meet the RoHS standard.
Electrical parameters:
- The peak control current reaches 1500mA,
- 3.3V or 5V for digital elements,
- Supply voltage 7..34V of the drive power level (TMC236A).
Interface: - SPI, - Classic clock / direction input.
Characteristics:
- Full security and diagnostics,
- Little power loss,
- 16-bit microchip,
- Splitting up to 64 times through an additional variable register,
- Variable distribution for smooth work,
- Programmable slope control,
- Built-in and external chopper clock,
- Rest and shut down options.
