MD150S - indicator for SSI absolute encoders

MD150S is a programmable indicator intended for reading positions from absolute encoders with an SSI output. The device is dedicated for cooperation with MABxx series encoders, offered by WObit or others with SSI type output (also in the RS422 standard).

Reading data

MD150S can read the position of an SSI absolute encoder with a resolution of 8 to 14-bit. In addition to the position, you can also specify the rotational speed and scale the counted number of pulses on the required unit (revolutions, steps, etc.). It is also possible to count positions from multiple rotations of the encoder.

Public

MD150S is equipped with a MODBUS-RTU interface that allows communication with industrial devices (PLC, HMI). The device also has 2 relay outputs, which can indicate thresholds set by the user.

The housing of a full aluminum profile guarantees a high mechanical strength and resistance to adverse external conditions.

  • 12 to 36 V power supply,

  • Degree of protection: IP40, from the front of the IP65 panel,
  • Housing / fixing: profile in accordance with DIN43700, screw holders.
