Thanks to the servo drive, the linear module achieves significant linear speed and the ability to carry heavier loads. Servo drive also allows easy integration of the module in machines equipped with this type of drive unit. Thanks to the integrated encoder with a resolution of 2,500 impulses per revolution, the user gets the possibility of precise position control.
The servo motor can be mounted on the module in a direct way and through a planetary or straight angle. Along with linear modules, servo motors with powers from 200 to 400 W are available.
The SMH60S series motors can be additionally equipped with a brake that protects the linear array in a vertical position when power is lost.
The servomotor requires an external controller.
