The new ADT42ETH measuring module for force sensors

The WObit company introduces a new measuring module ADT42ETH, used for force measurements, which can work with 4 load cells.

Nowy moduł pomiarowy ADT42ETH do czujników siły

Convenient and efficient management of four strain gauge force sensors is now even easier thanks to the new measuring module ADT42ETH. It is a precise, 4-channel converter that enables measurements with a frequency of up to 120 measurements/second per channel and an effective resolution of up to 19 bits.

The ADT42ETH module is equipped with USB, Ethernet, and RS485 ports. Access to the device can be done via the MODBUS-TCP / IP or MODBUS-RTU protocol, which allows for direct communication of one or more modules simultaneously with the PLC or HMI panel. Along with the possibility of summing measurements from selected channels, it allows you to create measuring applications with many force sensors, e.g. in weighing systems. The USB port is used to read data in a free PC application and visualize them on a chart or save them to a file.

ADT42ETH also has 2. inputs that allow for taring and recording measurements in the PC application "on-demand" and 2. outputs for signaling measurement thresholds.

The new measuring module is widely used in industry and research laboratories, wherever there is a need for rough or precise force measurement. Depending on the strain gauge used, weights can be measured from grams up to heavy loads in the ton range.
