OptoNCDT laser sensor 2300-2DR is designed for for measuring highly reflective and reflective surfaces. It is used, for example, to measure the thickness of flat glass, measure the distance in the process of a glass and control quality in the assembly of very small elements. Thanks to the measuring frequency of up to 49 kHz, the sensor is ideally suited for controlling high-speed industrial processes.
A-RTSC function (advanced real-time surface compensation) enables effective measurement of a variety of surfaces. Data is sent via Ethernet, RS422 or EtherCAT. If the sensor works with the C-Box / 2A unit, an analog output is also available.
The construction of a new laser sensor assures parallel installation of the measured object. The blue laser light is reflected by the measured object directly onto the sensor optics. In contrast to the red laser, the blue light does not penetrate through the measured object. On its surface a clear point is displayed, which allows sending a stable signal to the receiver. As a result, it is possible to obtain nanometer resolution. In addition, a very small measuring dot allows you to measure fine details.
The small size of the new sensor together with the very high accuracy make optoNCDT 2300-2DR original product. In its class it is the only a laser sensor measuring directly glossy surfaces, which all electronics are integrated in a compact housing.
