Fast and repetitive moving of elements, packaging or palletizing are everyday tasks in various industries. The WObit company, in order to fulfill such tasks, proposes Tower-type robots of their own production
Depending on the application, WObit offers two types of robot: TR300 and TR1200 . Robot TR300 has four degrees of freedom allowing effective implementation of complex moves.
The basis of the robot is equipped with high quality cykloidal gear allowing for transferring large torque and shortening torque. On the transmission, a vertical movement system is installed, using ball-screw drive.
Robot arm construction, based on MLAS16 module , allows to get high speed traffic. All robot axes are driven by high-performance servo motors , which together with a high-quality mechanical system, they ensure good repeatability of positioning. The proper assembly of the robot's cables allows 360 ° movement around its own axis. |
TR300 can transfer loads with weight up to 15 kg, with a maximum range 500 mm (standard range is 300 mm). The mass to be transferred should take into account the mass of the gripper used in the application. Motion system of the gripper is equipped with a drive that allows it to be realized its rotation around its own axis. It is possible to use a tool changer that allows quick exchange of gripper in manual or automatic mode. This design allows you to mount any type of gripper .
Control and software
Robot control is placed in a separate control cabinet. TR300 is programmed using the WBCprog environment installed on a PC-class computer with Windows. To the robot controller, via the RS485 port, you can connect the HMI panel and communicate with it in the Modbus-RTU protocol, which increases the robot's functionality.
For example, a motion control program can be used in the controller, and the operator panel can transfer the values of individual variables, optionally also activate or deactivate selected parts of the program. Such a way of cooperation between the controller and the HMI panel allows you to create almost any number of traffic trajectory configurations.
Additional equipment
The robot can be additionally equipped with a variety of sensors or a vision system. You can use the Modbus-RTU protocol for communication of a video camera with a robot controller. Thanks to the camera's co-operation, the robot can receive information about the location of the object and its orientation, which has to be downloaded.
Dimensional identification as well as bar code reading are also possible. The camera of the vision system can be mounted on the robot's arm, however, it is preferable to place it in a fixed point, allowing observation of the selected field with a constant lighting parameter. In addition to the standard construction TR300 robot is also available reinforced version for carrying larger loads, and also the version TR300-200-ML.12H, in which the robot axis can be additionally illuminated, protecting the structure against access to contamination. |
The robot's construction can be adapted to its mounting on a drive system, based on linear guides and high-precision roller pinion system. Thanks to this, the robot gains an additional motion axis, along which it can move with the load, at almost any distance.
In addition to TR300 robot for applications that require larger payload and range of motion WObit proposes a model TR1200 . This robot has payload up to 100 kg, with a maximum range of 1200 mm. In addition to the Tower robots, WObit offer includes desktop robots, two types of SCARA robot , AGV robot and various configurations Cartesian robots in versions: economic, precise and about high dynamics .
