Rotation angle measurement and pulse counting

Pomiar kąta obrotu i zadawanie impulsów

This category collects various types of transducers and potentiometers for measuring angular displacements, tz. both for measuring angle and rotational speed. In the case of encoders, when using a belt drive, a spool or a friction wheel, it is also possible to measure linear displacements.

Incremental converters allow you to measure a relative position by counting pulses. Rotary-code converters allow absolute angle measurement this means that you do not need quadrature counting, because you can read the angle position at any time in parallel on a digital output or serial in one of many standards.

In addition to optoelectronic transducers, magnetic pickups are available based on other operating principles, e.g. magnetic with a chip containing elements of the Hall or operating using the Wiegenda element, and also on a capacitive basis. Encoders are implemented in versions with axial or orbital clamps, and in the version with an aperture, through or blind.

Single-turn and multi-turn potentiometers have a wide range of resistance. They are made in wire technology and with conductive material and are equipped with an O-skewing Bearing. Potentiometers are enclosed in a plastic housing and have a high degree of protection IP65.

Rotary-impulse units with panel or built-in they are intended for exact positioning on the machine to the control system. As in pulse transmitters, they generate two electric signals that are offset in phase by 90 degrees, enabling direction differentiation.
