Increasing production efficiency is one of the priorities for companies that want to remain competitive on the market. One of the most frequently used methods is the automation of processes. The company WObit proposes to its implementation the use of mobile robots AGV - used in modern production facilities.
The MOBOT AGV EcoRunner (Automated Guided Vehicle) is a mobile robot used for transport, whose movement takes place along a designated path. It allows the implementation of autonomous traffic to a selected point (station) on a path made of magnetic tape. The main path (route) is the loop on which the turnouts (sidings) are located with the destination stations. The robot recognizes target stations based on RFID tags placed next to the robot's motion path, before the actual station.
The robot service consists in selecting the destination station to which the robot has reached and starting autonomous traffic. The robot moves along the main track to read the RFID tag that corresponds to the name of the preset station. If he detects a marker, he will be riding on the side track next to him. After entering the sidetrack, it stops when the stop marker is detected. After stopping, AGV robot awaits the task of the next route.
MOBOT AGV EcoRunner mobile robot , prepared by WObit, it can be used safely on the production hall supporting production processes by transporting different components on specified sections without the help of the operator and cooperation with palletizing robots. AGV32 is equipped with Wi-Fi communication and can be controlled from the tablet or smartphone. In addition to the production hall, the AGV32 vehicle can also be used in warehouse transport systems.
Security guarantees, among others two safety switches (one at the front, the other at the back) which, in turn, causes the drive to be cut off and the device to stop suddenly. The robot is also equipped with a laser space scanner that allows you to scan the space in front of the robot to respond to objects in the robot's track and avoid collisions. The scanned space is divided into several zones. Thanks to this, the robot, which is moving, can react to obstacles by slowing down or stopping - depending on the zone in which the obstacle is detected.
The transport of components can take place both on the body of the device and in a separate trailer. The solution prepared by the company WObit can achieve a maximum linear speed of up to 3 km / h. The maximum weight of the towed truck is up to 350 kg on a flat surface. AGV robot can work up to 12 hours without recharging the batteries.
In addition to the MOBOT AGV EcoRunner mobile robot, the WObit offer includes a Tower robot. , Desktop, two types of SCARA robot , as well as various configurations Cartesian robotics in the economical, precise and high dynamics version.
