Laser profilograph - Product of the year 2014/2015

Profilograf is a device that allows measurement and acquisition of a road surface profile in the range of 45 to 90 mm. Thanks to him, in a simple way, we gain the possibility to verify the state of the road by determining the depth of ruts, spins or struts. The profile is a record of the height indicated at the moment by the laser sensor as a function of the road read from the incremental encoder.
The sensor is moved by means of a linear module with a length of 1700 mm, which is controlled by the SIC184 stepper motor driver. Data acquisition takes place on the basis of an SD memory card or by using a PC equipped with a dedicated application. The data is saved to the * .csv file.
The device has been equipped with battery power, thanks to which we gain the possibility to work in the field. The measurement is carried out in one of two modes (activated by separate buttons): Ă?
- Program 1 (coarse measurement),
- Program 2 (accurate measurement).
The current parameters of the profile height and roads are presented on the MG-TAE1 display unit located on the control cabinet.
