Mobile robots MOBOT® AGV is a solution in the field of Industry 4.0 , more and more often implemented by production companies in Poland and in the world for the automation of in-house logistics.
The automotive industry leads the way in implementing innovative solutions that increase efficiency and improve the safety of production processes, such as collaborative mobile robots. An excellent example of such a company is SITECH Sp. z o.o., which is a reputable company belonging to the Volkswagen group. It specializes in the production of metal car seat frames for selected car models of such brands as: Volskwagen, Audi, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Skoda, Seat and Porsche.

The mentioned autonomous mobile robot can transport loads of up to 200 kg and work on battery power for up to 12 hours. This is the most popular model in the MOBOT® AGV self-driving robot family used for the automation of internal transport.
MOBOT® AGV CubeRunner is ideal for transporting medium-sized loads, such as litter boxes, packages and various details of various shapes.
The robot is navigated by a laser terrain mapping system (LMS) or an optical system with a colored line. In the case of LMS navigation, the robot is oriented in space similar to human. The robot creates a map of the environment in its memory and by scanning the space while driving it sees characteristic points (e.g. walls), thanks to which it always knows exactly where it is.
Several models of standard carts and adapters available for the robot. With their help it is possible to automatically take the load, its safe transport and storage to the destination.
