The family company WObit is turning 30 this year. The celebration of this exceptional jubilee began with a birthday tree planting campaign.
On a beautiful spring day, the WObit team, divided into smaller groups, planted 30 black pines, as well as honey-bearing lindens and colorful rowan trees. In addition to trees, ninebarks and dogwoods have also been planted, which will give a special color to their surroundings.
New plants have joined the already numerous trees growing on the premises of WObit in Dęborzyce.The unique location of the company's headquarters among fields and on the edge of the forest is characterized by a pleasant peace, filled with singing birds and the sound of trees, providing excellent conditions for innovation.
By organizing the tree planting campaign on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of WObit, we wanted to emphasize that responsibility for our surroundings and the future of the Earth depends on all of us - said Jacek Ober, co-owner of the company. Planted trees and shrubs are an investment in the future, because forest areas, parks, and green spaces are of great importance for every organism, including humans. Trees produce oxygen and absorb pollutants, which has a significant impact on air quality. A hectare of an adult forest produces approx. 700 kg of oxygen within 24 hours, satisfying the daily needs of 2,500 people1.
Commemorating the 30th anniversary of the company with the action of planting trees, we want to spread the values that are important to us, such as sustainable development and care for nature, present in WObit's activities from the very beginning. Responsibility and care for ecology unite employees who take part in such initiatives with serious commitment and willingness. We hope that in the next 30 years, the next generations will have the opportunity to admire the beautiful stands - summed up Jacek Ober.
