In this year's 13th edition of the Competition for the Award of the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region "i-Wielkopolska - Innovative for Wielkopolska", WObit took first place in one of the six Smart Specializations for the Wielkopolska Region: Specialized logistics processes.
The MOBOT® AGV FlatRunner MW Light mobile robot, which is used to automate internal transport, was awarded. Its task is autonomous transport loads up to 1 ton. MOBOT® moves independently in any direction thanks to Mecanum wheels and LMS laser navigation. This system ensures autonomous and safe operation, identification of obstacles and their avoidance, and safe stopping of the robot. In line with the Industry 4.0 concept, MOBOT® safely cooperates with people, supporting their work. It is easy to adapt to different tasks. It optimizes intralogistics, helping to modernize processes and increase the competitiveness of companies without costly factory reconstruction.
– There are many innovative companies in our region, and they are innovative on a global scale. This is evidenced by the successive editions of the i-Wielkopolska - Innovative for Wielkopolska competition organized by the self-government of the Greater Poland Voivodeship. Such innovative enterprises build the image of Wielkopolska is a modern region with a good atmosphere for entrepreneurship. Their success means they are developing, investing, and increasing employment. Companies that want to compete with them must also develop. It is a real contribution to the development of our region. It cannot be overestimated. We live in times of widespread digitization, so this year we decided to award three modern, very innovative products from this segment. I hope that the winners of the competition will soon be able to present their solutions at international trade fairs, and the awarded products will be successful worldwide - says Jacek Bogusławski, Member of the Board of the Wielkopolska Region, Chairman of the Competition Chapter.
The official presentation of diplomas and statuettes to the Competition Laureates is scheduled for the beginning of 2021 at the seat of the Marshal's Office of the Wielkopolska Region.
