Greater Poland Educational and Economic Network has been recognized in the The Knowledge competitionManagement and Intellectual Capital Excellence Awards at ECKM. The competition accompanied one of the most important scientific conferences in the world devoted to knowledge management – The European Conference in Knowledge Management - ECKM. In 2019, the twentieth edition of the conference was held in Lisbon.
The final initiatives were selected from 30 submissions from around the world. The selection was made as part of a two-step evaluation. This a great distinction met only one initiative from Poland. It was in a select group of finalists along with projects from Italy, Portugal, Great Britain, Switzerland, Malaysia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates Arab. The best, distinguished solutions were presented at the conference and were described in a unique book entitled 5th KnowledgeManagement and Intellectual Capital Excellence Awards. An Anthology of Case Histories 2019.
The WObit company undertakes a number of educational activities, including participation in the Time of BIS professionals - professional Wielkopolska through, among others education of trainees and apprentices. The employees of the company share their knowledge and experience during guest lectures at universities, lessons with high school students or during trainings and lectures for children, teenagers and adults.
The effect of the initiative's activities is acceleration, transfer and diffusion of knowledge about professional competences, stimulation of social capital development. Competency knowledge management is very important in improving organizational and inter-organizational competence management.
We are pleased that the network of entities, including Local Government of the Wielkopolska Voivodship , Poznan University of Technology , companies from the region together with the company WObit, schools and students were highlighted in such a special way.
