Quality control, fast industrial processes or measurement of geometrical quantities are tasks created for laser scanners. Micro-Epsilon has prepared several series of devices with different measuring ranges, which will allow practically every measurement, even in the case of metal-heated reds, thanks to a new blue laser scanner! Ă?

scanCONTROL laser line scanners are predestined for fast and accurate profile measurements in industrial conditions. Laser scanCONTROL laser scanners use the principle of laser triangulation for two-dimensional determination of the profile of various surfaces of objects.

In contrast to the known point laser sensors, the sensor generates a laser line on the surface of the object under test. High-quality optics reproduce the diffused laser line light on a light-diffused CMOS sensor. The controller calculates from the CCD camera image next to the distance information (o Z) as well as the position of the laser line along the path (o X) and sends both values â??â??to the two-dimensional co-ordinate system of the sensor. With moving objects or when moving the sensor in a certain way, it is possible to visualize the information in three dimensions.

In WObit offer there are three classes of scanCONTROL products available.Seria CompactĂ? are standard scanners with a measurement speed of up to 200 Hz and a maximum resolution of up to two micrometres. For very quick measurements is intendedseria High SpeedĂ? characterizing, as the name suggests, high frequency of measurement up to 4 kHz. To the demanding applications is intended Smart Series , which is pre-programmed to the given tasks or for basic measuring tasks. The main accent in the Smart series is focused on obtaining special measurement results, eg width and slot height based on the profile rating.

Recently, Micro-Epsilon also offers scanners with a blue laser, designed mainly for measurements of red, hot metals, as well as transparent elements and organic materials. The shorter wavelength of the blue laser guarantees greater stability of the measurements.Skanery laserowe scanCONTROL BLthey have the same perfect characteristics as the scanCONTROL series, which uses a red laser diode. Scanners with a blue laser are available in three classes: Compact (2600 / BL and 2900 / BL), High Speed â??â??(2650 / BL) and Smart (2610 / BL and 2910 / BL).

A special version of laser scanners is the gapCONTROL series designed to control gaps on a wide variety of surfaces. The sensors from the series gapCONTROL are available in various measuring ranges. The gapCONTROL software allows fast and easy configuration of scanners to measure the gap. Regardless of whether the measurement is performed for the purpose of quality control, production processes or automation, various types of sensors always provide the highest quality measurement.
