On October 22-26, 2024, enterprises from Greater Poland, including WObit and a university, took part in a study visit carried out during the Robotworld 2024 fair, which is the largest robotics fair in South Korea.
ROBOTWORLD is an event organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and co-organized by the Korea Robotics Industry Association, the Korea Robotics Industry Development Institute and the Control, Robotics and Systems Institute.
The fair featured a diverse range of robotics companies: from manufacturing robotics and smart factories to automation, professional and personal service robots, self-driving and logistics robots, medical, rehabilitation and defense robots, robotics as a service (RaaS), robotic parts and software. Participation in the fair was an opportunity to establish new business contacts and to learn about the latest technological solutions in this area.
Additionally, the program also included meetings: with the Head of the Foreign Trade Office of PAIH in Seoul, during which the Wielkopolska delegation obtained a number of information about the Korean market, business conditions, regulations, as well as Naver Corporation, a leading internet service provider in South Korea, serving a portal with the Naver search engine and the services of a popular gaming portal, which is the Korean equivalent of Google.
Participants also held a meeting in the largest technology park in South Korea #DaeJeonTechnoPark. Operations Director Jacek Ober had the opportunity to present WObit E.K. Ober s.c. along with the capabilities and achievements that the WObit team has developed over the 18 years of the existence of the MOBOT®️ mobile robots brand.
The activity was carried out as part of "Wielkopolska 2050 - building brands and internationalization of the Greater Poland economy to increase its competitiveness in the face of climate challenges (Wielkopolska 2050)". The project is implemented and financed by the European Funds for Greater Poland Program for 2021-2027.
