On Friday, November 5, at the House of Music and Dance in Zabrze, a wonderful event took place - the XXIX concert "Heart for the Heart", organized by the Professor Zbigniew Religa Foundation of Cardiac Surgery Development. The ceremonial gala was dedicated to all allies, sponsors, partners, friends, and employees of the Foundation. It commemorated the founder and patron of the Foundation - professor Zbigniew Religa and thanked the entire medical community for their dedication to helping the sick and fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the gala in Zabrze, hosted by prof. Andrzej Karbownik, the president of the foundation, and its director-general, Dr. Jan Sarna, were awarded the Foundation's awards and distinctions. One of the winners of the awards presented during this year's concert was the WObit company. Sebastian Renn, representing the company, had the great honor to receive a great distinction from the representatives of the Foundation's authorities - the 2020 Foundation Friend statuette.
We are proud that as a Polish manufacturer of industrial robots creating innovative technologies, such as MOBOT® mobile robots, we have been able to cooperate for many years and support the activities of the Professor Zbigniew Religa Foundation of Cardiac Surgery Development.
We wholeheartedly support the further development of modern techniques and technologies in the field of heart treatment created by the Foundation and thank you very much for the fact that our long-term cooperation has been so beautifully awarded.
This year's "Heart for Heart" concert was graced by the performance of artists from the Entertainment Theater in Chorzów. The artists took the audience on a journey through the screens of cinemas around the world, presenting compositions created for the needs of the largest cinema productions.
The evening in Zabrze was special - it took place on the 36th anniversary of the first successful heart transplant in Poland, performed in 1985 by - then, Assoc. Zbigniew Religa with his team at the Provincial Cardiology Center in Zabrze (now the Silesian Center for Heart Diseases).
