The two-stage reduction principle ensures excellent performance in terms of dynamics and smoothness of operation, as well as high repeatability and path accuracy. Integrated angular contact ball bearings absorb both axial and radial loads and bending moments, providing high torsional stiffness as well as impact and overload resistance (up to 500% of rated torque). Power transmission via cams and rollers ensures virtually full contact and even distribution of forces in the transmission, which translates into high stiffness. As a result, it is possible to transmit very high torques with maximum precision and smooth operation. The increase in clearance is negligible even with long-term use.
