MD150A Digital processing unit with display and 0-10V / 4-20mA input

MD150A is a 0-10 V / 4-20 mA measurement indicator. Programmable indicator for sensors with voltage, current or potentiometric output. The MD150A indicator is designed for measuring volt 0 ~ 10 V or 0 ~ 20 mA currents. It can work with a variety of sensors that output a voltage or current analog signal and convert the measurement to a specific unit.

Inputs / Exits

An additional 12 V voltage output allows the sensor to be powered or a potentiometer sensor connected. MD150A in addition to the measuring input has 2 relay outputs, which can be freely configured to turn on / off at specific thresholds. The device is also equipped with universal digital inputs, which can be used for external triggering of measurements and pauses of the current measurement.

Service, measurement

The MD150A indicator is intuitive to use. The configuration for cooperation with a given sensor does not require any conversion, but it is limited to entering the range of the output signal from the sensor and the range of the value displayed on the indicator. The indicator itself converts the value of the measurement so that eg after connecting the distance sensor with the 4-20 mA output, it indicates the value in mm. MD150A has been equipped with a USB and RS485 MODBUS connector.

Read / register

The USB connector allows you to record measurement data on a PC (eg to an Excel file) using the MD150A-PC software. MODBUS-RTU is able to read measurements from several indicators at the same time to the PLC, HMI panel or its own PC application.

Cover

The MD150A indicator has a full aluminum profile in accordance with the DIN43700 standard, guaranteeing a high mechanical strength and resistance to adverse external conditions, including electrical disturbances.

Co-operation with any bridge, strain gauge force sensors.

Features:

  • Voltage or current measurement with a resolution of 10,000 measuring points (1 mV),
  • Filtering the signal,
  • Converting voltage / current to any units,
  • Changes in relay output states based on set thresholds
  • Transfer of measurement data to a PC (USB) or master device, eg HMI panel, PLC (RS485 MODBUS-RTU)
