MOBOT® AFL 14 autonomous forklift

Autonomous forklift used to automate the transport of heavy pallets and shelves. A perfect solution for optimizing warehouse logistics.

It moves using natural navigation (SLAM), which has an accuracy of ±10 mm and does not require reflectors. The trolley is programmed to perform specific activities with millimeter accuracy, which minimizes the number of errors made and prevents damage to the goods.

Equipped with multiple sensors to increase safety, such as a 3D obstacle avoidance system, bumper strips and distance sensors for 360° stereoscopic protection. Advanced safety systems are responsible for detecting obstacles and preventing collisions, thanks to which the risk of accident is reduced to a minimum.

The compact structure of the trolley and a very small turning radius enable it to perform tasks even in narrow aisles, ensuring effective use of warehouse and factory space.

The MOBOT AFL 14 trolley is designed to transport goods weighing up to 1,400 kg, placed on a 1200×800 EUR and 1200×1000 mm industrial pallet.

The robot allows you to perform tasks such as:

  • picking up/putting down loads from the floor, shelf, conveyor, etc.
  • horizontal transport of cargo to a designated place
  • lifting loads to a height of up to 3 meters

Power supply

A modern lithium-iron-phosphate (LiFePO4) battery guarantees a service life of over 2,000 charging cycles, ensures fast charging and long operation.

The Mobot ® AFL 14 stroller recognizes the low level of charge and in the absence of current tasks automatically passes to the charging station, where he automatically begins the charging process.

Profitability of implementation and ROI calculation

An investment in the automation of vertical transport using the MOBOT® AFL14 robot directly affects the operating cost structure (OPEX) of the company, guaranteeing a measurable increase in efficiency and a quick return on capital expenditure (CAPEX).

Key financial performance indicators:

  • Reduction of direct costs (TCO): Built-in lithium-iron-phosphate battery (LFP 24 V / 180 Ah). Working in a multi-shift system allows you to replace operator positions, eliminating the costs of recruitment, absenteeism, remuneration and overtime work.

  • Increase in the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) indicator: Stable and repeatable rate of delivery of components and receipt of finished products eliminates micro-downtime of production machines caused by delays in internal logistics.

  • Reduction of loss and repair costs: Active 360° safety system based on laser scanners eliminates accidents, damage to goods and collisions with warehouse infrastructure (high-speed gates, racks, pillars). This translates into direct, easily verifiable savings in the maintenance and logistics budget.

  • Extended life cycle and fast charging (Opportunity Charging): LFP cells are highly resistant to degradation under intensive use. Fast automatic charging (from 10% to 80% in ~2 hours) allows you to recharge the battery during natural technological breaks, without the need to maintain an expensive fleet of replacement batteries and dedicated battery rooms.

Calculate accurate return on investment (ROI)

The return on investment in AMR class robots depends on the individual cost parameters of your plant (number of shifts, average hourly rates of staff and length of travel routes).

Where can MOBOT® AFL 14 help you?

Wherever you need to transport heavy pallets and shelves.

  • This is a perfect solution for automating transport in warehouses and logistics centers.
  • Inindustrial productionfor transporting pallets weighing up to 1,400 kg.
  • In logistics - it will replace a forklift with an operator and will reliably transport loads in the warehouse.
  • Inanother industry - the possibilities are very wide, there is also room for your other applications.

What requirements must the floor meet so that the MOBOT® AFL14 robot can work safely?

The device requires a stable industrial floor. The permissible slope of the transport road is ≤ 5%. The robot safely overcomes vertical faults (thresholds) up to 5 mm high and expansion joints up to 15 mm wide.

What width of aisle is required to make a right angle turn and stack a pallet?

For a standard pallet with dimensions of 1000 x 1200 mm (guided along the forks of 1200 mm), the minimum width of the stacking corridor at a right angle is 1966+200 mm. The small dimensions of the robot (951 mm wide) make it easy to maneuver in limited space.

How is the battery charged?

The robot uses a 24V/180Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. Charging can be done manually or automatically using dedicated docking stations. Fast charging time from 10% to 80% is approximately 2 hours.

How does the robot react to pedestrians moving along its route?

If a person or other obstacle is detected in the robot's warning zone, MOBOT® AFL14 slows down, emitting light and sound signals. Violation of the safety zone results in immediate stopping of the vehicle. The robot automatically resumes the task after the obstacle is removed.
