Unrivaled low installation depth and the highest stability in its class
The 844 series joysticks offer features typically only found in products for industrial applications, even though they are very compact finger-operated joysticks. For example, the "T" handle makes the 844 the most compact joystick with a magazine handle and button (see photo above center). In this configuration, the 844 has advantages over larger models in terms of lower price and smaller space requirements.
The 844 Series joysticks feature wear-free Hall effect sensors, are available with up to 3 axes, and feature a robust ball-joint mechanical design. They withstand high pushing, pulling, translational and rotational forces, up to a load of 400 N (vertical). The service life is up to 10 million operations. Immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI/RFI) is impressive thanks to the internal magnetic shield, and the sensors are available in a redundant version.
Thanks to the protection level up to IP65, various shapes of handles, limiters and output options, you can choose the optimal product for a given application.
- Analog output, PWM, CAN J1939 or CANopen.
- Supply voltage 5 V (analog ratiometric) or 3.3 V (stabilized analog), 7..35 VDC for the CAN version.
- Versions with a supply voltage of 5 V are standardly equipped with center detection and center tap
- Impressive maximum load of 400 N / 40 kg from the top
- Unmatched installation depth < 20 mm.
Application examples:
- Joysticks in device construction
- Joysticks for safety engineering solutions
