In response to the growing industry requirements for precise non-contact measurements, Micro-Epsilon is expanding its offer of confocal systems. New sensors from the confocalDT IFS2404 series, available in the WObit offer, provide even greater application flexibility while maintaining the highest measurement accuracy.

Confocal technology enables stable displacement and distance measurements regardless of the type of surface - both for light-reflecting, scattering and transparent materials. Thanks to this, the sensors are used, among others, in the electronics, medical, optical and precision automation industries.

The series extension with theIFS2404-18model fills the gap between the existing measurement ranges of 10 mm and 28 mm. The new variant offers:
