Directive on safety

The most important document constituting the set of essential requirements for machine manufacturers is Machinery Directive. Meeting the requirements of the current Machinery Directive 2006/42 / EC, MOBOT mobile robots ® can be sold to the entire European Economic Area market. In addition to the directive, the documents detailing the technical requirements are standards. The development of standards is done by relevant organizations or institutions, e.g. ISO, CEN, IEEE, and in Poland it is PKN (Polish Committee for Standardization).

What are harmonized standards?

According to Polish Committee for Standardization , these are standards related to a specific directive. "When an EN standard developed at European level becomes a national standard by adopting it in a set of national standards by at least one Member State, that standard becomes a harmonized standard."

The list of such standards in Poland is published in Monitor Powszechny - the official publisher of legal acts which are not a source of universally binding law.

norms typu A – mogą być zastosowane do każdej maszyny, zawierają podstawowe zasady projektowania i ogólne aspekty bezpieczeństwa.

norms typu B – mogą być stosowane do szerokiej grupy maszyn, ale nie do wszystkich, omawiają aspekty bezpieczeństwa z nimi związane. Dzielą się na normy typu B1 dotyczące szczególnych aspektów bezpieczeństwa i normy typu B2 dla zabezpieczeń.

In accordance with what standards are mobile robots MOBOT ® and their accessories?

Designation of robots in accordance with type C standard - PN-EN 1525 standard is a confirmation, not a presumption of compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42 / EC.

All industrial trucks manufactured by WObit are subject to risk assessment and analysis in accordance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO 12100. This allows eliminating or reducing the likelihood of risk occurring and its possible effects. Risk analysis and assessment already takes place at the design stage, so that all protective measures are selected in line with the safety triad to reduce the final cost of the product.

To ensure the highest standards, WObit also complies with the latest international standard on industrial trucks ISO 3691-4 , issued less than 3 months ago. The publication of the standard PN-EN ISO 3691-4 was designated by the Polish Committee for Standardization for August this year.

In addition, the industrial trucks designed and manufactured by WObit meet the requirements of, among others such standards as PN-EN ISO 13849-1 or PN-EN 60204-1.
